Oracle OCI Database Administrator
Job Summary
Supporting mission-critical Oracle databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), the remote Oracle OCI Database Administrator will provision, administer, optimize, and troubleshoot Oracle Database 19c/23c environments, including multitenant Container and Pluggable Databases, while managing cloud migration and disaster recovery initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Provision and administer Oracle databases on OCI platforms, including Exadata Cloud Service and Autonomous Database
- Manage CDB/PDB environments, including cloning, patching, upgrades, and resource management
- Implement and support RMAN backup/recovery and Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery architectures
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
- 2-3+ years of hands-on OCI experience
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 19c/23c and multitenant CDB/PDB architecture
- Ability to design high-availability and disaster recovery solutions in OCI
- Active Secret Clearance
