Oregon Licensed Care Coach
Job Summary
To support clients navigating mental health challenges, the part-time Oregon Licensed Care Coach will engage in 1:1 peer discussions, provide skill-based interventions, and assist with risk screenings while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Engages clients in discussions to align treatment goals and ensure attendance in programming
- Provides skill-based interventions to stabilize clients during heightened stress moments
- Conducts risk screenings and safety planning, escalating to crisis clinicians as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred
- 2nd year Master's students or individuals with experience working with young adults and adolescents preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in mental health peer support, mentoring, or as a mental health associate preferred
- Must reside in Oregon and have availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Proficiency with cloud-based communication tools and Microsoft Office or Google Sheets
