Job Summary
To support the DC Program, the part-time Oregon Licensed Chiropractic Instructor will prepare lessons, teach courses in chiropractic techniques and basic sciences, and assess student performance while maintaining a safe learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepares lessons and teaches procedures based on existing syllabus
- Demonstrates and monitors student practice of proper skills technique and patient interactions
- Compiles, administers, and grades examinations
Required qualifications
- Prior teaching experience in a university or professional education program
- Graduate of a CCE-accredited Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program
- Active license to practice as a chiropractic physician in Oregon or ability to acquire shortly after hire
- Ability to provide lecture and/or lab instruction for 1 to 4-hour periods
- Sufficient mobility and visual acuity to engage with students during lab activities
