Oregon Licensed Clinical Pharmacist
Job Summary
Supporting the Vetsource pharmacy workflow, the full-time Remote Clinical Support Pharmacist will perform initial prescription verification, manage the drug utilization review queue, and handle communications with pet parents and veterinary clinics while working remotely with open availability between 5 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time, Monday to Saturday.
Key responsibilities
- Perform initial verification of new prescriptions and manage the DUR queue
- Investigate and resolve orders flagged for clinical intervention, ensuring compliance and appropriateness
- Handle inbound and outbound communications with pet parents, veterinarians, and clinic staff
Required qualifications
- Current pharmacist license in good standing for the state of residence
- B.S. or PharmD in Pharmacy
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal pharmacy rules and laws
- At least 2 years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate new programs quickly
