Job Summary
To support its legal team, the full-time remote Oregon Licensed Employment Attorney will provide expert advice on labor and employment law, assist in various employment-related matters, and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and monitor federal, state, and local employment laws, providing practical guidance to HR and management
- Assist in matters related to immigration, employee relations, and performance management, among others
- Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, synthesizing information to support informed decision-making
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership required
- 3+ years of relevant experience providing employment law advice and counsel
- Preferred experience providing in-house employment law advice to a national employer
- Combination of in-house and private practice experience in the insurance and/or financial services industries preferred
