Oregon Licensed Health Insurance Analyst
Job Summary
To support Oregon's Medicaid clients, the full-time salaried Oregon Licensed Health Insurance Analyst will ensure accurate entry of third-party insurance information, assist in recovering incorrect payments, and help clients enroll in appropriate Managed Care plans while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily workflow and support team operations, contributing to process improvement initiatives
- Independently review and analyze Third Party Resource referrals for completeness and eligibility
- Gather and verify insurance information, updating records in the Medicaid Management Information System
Required qualifications
- Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience, or an associate degree in general office occupations with one year of relevant experience
- Experience coordinating and understanding health insurance benefits
- Proficiency in navigating medical billing systems and related computer-based tools
- Demonstrated ability to accurately research, enter, and update alphanumeric data
- Exceptional attention to detail when processing and verifying information
