Job Summary
Providing clinical nutrition services, the full-time Oregon Licensed Registered Dietitian will deliver age-appropriate medical nutrition therapy for patients with inherited metabolic disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings, while working in a hybrid environment that includes remote and office duties.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver age-appropriate medical nutrition therapy for individuals with inherited metabolic disorders and support the MMG Metabolic Food Program
- Assess laboratory and clinical data, develop and implement nutrition care plans, and document patient progress
- Train dietetic interns and medical students while creating educational materials for patients and families regarding nutritional needs
Required qualifications
- MS or PhD in a nutrition-related field
- Registered Dietitian or eligible to become a Registered Dietitian within 6 months of employment
- Licensed Dietitian or eligible to become a licensed dietitian in Oregon within 6 months of employment
- Thorough knowledge of nutrition assessment and current dietetic practices
- Ability to work effectively as part of interdisciplinary health care teams
