Job Summary
To support a collaborative accounting team, the full-time temporary Oregon Licensed Senior Accountant will manage complex general and cost accounting activities, oversee financial statement preparation, and lead external audit processes while working remotely within the Portland area.
Key responsibilities
- Review and analyze financial statements, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Coordinate the administration of complex financial systems and lead the development of financial policies and procedures
- Provide financial assistance on corporate projects and present financial results to senior management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, SAP, and cost accounting standards
- Experience with AI tools and technologies in professional settings is highly desired
