Oregon Licensed Structural Engineer
Job Summary
As a full-time remote opportunity, the Oregon Licensed Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis and design, collaborate with project teams, and manage workload while ensuring quality and adherence to building codes.
Key responsibilities
- Competently perform structural engineering analysis and design under general supervision, applying engineering techniques and building code provisions
- Exhibit attention to detail by checking own work and performing calculation checks of other engineers' designs
- Develop leadership skills by providing technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers and designers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- At least 4 years of Structural Engineering experience
- Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
