Oregon Licensed Utilization Coordinator
Job Summary
Providing clinical expertise in mental health and substance use disorder treatment services, the full-time remote Oregon Licensed Utilization Coordinator will manage authorization requests, conduct clinical reviews, and collaborate with community providers to ensure medically appropriate services are delivered to members.
Key responsibilities
- Review authorization requests and determine if additional information is needed for clinical assessments
- Make authorization decisions based on medical necessity criteria and sound clinical judgment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical assistance to community providers
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in behavioral health required
- Licensed clinical social worker or licensed professional counselor
- Five years' experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
- Proficient in MS software or Google Suites
- Ability to work occasional rotating on-call hours
