Oregon Licensed Utilization Coordinator
Job Summary
Providing clinical expertise in mental health and substance use disorder treatment services, the full-time Oregon Licensed Utilization Coordinator will conduct reviews of service requests, inform providers of review outcomes, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, all while working remotely from within Oregon.
Key responsibilities
- Review authorization requests for completeness and make decisions based on medical necessity criteria
- Collaborate with community providers and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate service delivery
- Participate in internal and external meetings to discuss clinical quality and member engagement
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in behavioral health
- Licensed clinical social worker or licensed professional counselor
- Five years of experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
- Proficiency in MS software or Google Suites
- Ability to work occasional rotating on-call hours
