Oregon Licensed Warmline Operator

Job Summary

To provide confidential peer support, the part-time Oregon Licensed Warmline Operator will take calls from individuals across the state, participate in ongoing training, and maintain accurate data logs in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide phone support to callers while practicing Intentional Peer Support principles
• Participate in ongoing training and team-building activities to enhance skills
• Maintain and present data logs accurately to represent warmline activity

Required qualifications

• Must identify as a person with lived experience of emotional challenges
• Completion of Core Training in Intentional Peer Support (IPS) and registration with the Oregon Health Authority as a Peer Support Specialist within the first 6 months
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adhere to policies and procedures
• Fundamental awareness of cross-cultural issues, dual diagnosis/addictions, and effects of PTSD/trauma within 3 years
• Pass all criminal background check requirements and pre-hire drug screening
