Oregon Patient Accounts Collector

Job Summary

Working remotely in Oregon, the full-time Patient Accounts Credit and Collection Representative will manage collection activities for past due accounts, provide customer support regarding billing inquiries, and ensure account integrity while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct collection activities on unresolved aged patient balances through phone calls and correspondence
• Monitor account activity, ensuring accurate updates to patient demographics and insurance setups
• Research and resolve patient billing questions and complaints in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of experience in a medical-based billing office
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Knowledge of insurance carrier billing processes
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday with flexible scheduling
