Job Summary
Assisting with the coordination of the organ transplant process, the full-time Organ Recovery Specialist will receive and screen organ offers, provide on-call support for organ procurement, and facilitate communication among medical teams remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and screen organ offers from the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) Contractor
- Provide continuous on-call assistance for organ procurement and coordinate logistics for the transplant team
- Communicate with attending physicians and other staff to ensure smooth operations during the transplant process
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience
