Job Summary
Assisting with the coordination of the organ transplant process, the full-time remote Organ Recovery Specialist will receive and screen organ offers, provide on-call support for organ procurement, and facilitate communication among medical teams to ensure smooth operations.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and screen organ offers from the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) Contractor
- Provide continuous on-call assistance for the transplant center during organ procurement
- Coordinate logistics and communication among attending physicians, surgeons, and the operating room staff for recipient operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience
