OSD Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the OSD Specialist will manage relationships with terminals and warehouse services to ensure adherence to OS&D procedures, conduct investigations of lost or damaged freight, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper OS&D procedures are followed to mitigate claims exposure
• Conduct thorough investigations of shortages, documenting results and communicating findings
• Manage the disposition process for on-hand shipments and refusals, completing necessary paperwork and system updates

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2-year community college or vocational degree highly preferred
• 1+ years' experience in customer service or logistics
• Proven track record in handling multiple tasks and problem-solving in difficult customer situations
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures with minimal oversight
