Outage Manager

Job Summary

Managing complex outage events, the full-time Outage Manager will oversee preparation, planning, execution, and closeout of gas turbine and steam turbine outages remotely while ensuring adherence to best practices and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire process of outage event preparation, including scheduling, labor planning, and customer management
• Lead onsite execution during outages, ensuring fulfillment goals are met and managing cost tracking and productivity
• Drive improvements in on-time delivery and outage cost while supporting customer operations during turbine and generator testing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience in the power generation industry
• Minimum of 8 years of applicable experience in gas/steam turbine or generator maintenance
• At least 3 years of specialized experience in outage planning and execution for gas/steam turbine generators and auxiliary systems
• Proficiency in English
• Strong project management and planning skills, preferably with Primavera scheduling tool experience
