Outpatient Coder II

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Outpatient Coder II will focus on coding and billing for healthcare services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Reviewing and coding outpatient medical records for accuracy and completeness
• Ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed

Required qualifications:

• Certification as a CPC, CCS, or equivalent coding credential
• Minimum of two years of outpatient coding experience
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Residency in IL, IN, IA, WI, OH, MO, MI, or FL
