Outpatient Quality Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Outpatient Quality Analyst, this full-time remote position will manage outpatient coding audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing mentorship and feedback to enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review coding audits for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• Provide coaching and support to coders to improve accuracy and confidence
• Deliver feedback from audits and identify training needs or process gaps

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; CCS or CPC certification required
• At least 5 years of coding experience in professional and hospital settings
• Deep knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS/CPT, Medicare OPPS, and APCs
• Skilled in using encoder tools (Optum, TrueCode, 3M, Webstrat)
• Ability to code complex outpatient services and apply modifiers according to Medicare/NCCI rules
