Outpatient Reimbursement Coordinator

Job Summary

To support the Outpatient Rehabilitation department, the full-time Outpatient Reimbursement Coordinator will manage payer communications, document authorization information, and monitor patient visits in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with payers via fax or telephone regarding authorization status
• Document and review authorization information and chart documentation
• Coordinate authorization updates with the therapy team and scheduling staff

Required qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience navigating insurance systems for coverage and authorization
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
