Job Summary
To support effective communication in a healthcare setting, the full-time Overnight Clinical Communication Specialist will relay urgent and non-urgent medical results between radiologists and referring physicians while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Relay urgent and non-urgent medical results across multiple hospital systems
- Serve as a key point of contact to resolve communication issues and support healthcare professionals
- Ensure timely delivery of critical findings while maintaining HIPAA compliance
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent healthcare experience preferred; Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology technology experience with knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to manage priorities with urgency
