P2P Appeals Coordinator

Job Summary

Working remotely within the US, the full-time P2P Appeals Coordinator will manage payer communications to schedule Peer to Peer calls, document interactions in proprietary systems, and support various departmental functions while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Schedule and conduct Peer to Peer calls with payers, ensuring timely follow-ups on cases
• Document call information and account status across multiple databases and systems
• Provide support for case entry, Peer to Peer processes, and appeals as needed

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior call center experience is preferred
• Understanding of denial processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, including basic formulas and spreadsheet management
• Accurate keyboard skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
