Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time contract PA Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will apply critical thinking and medical knowledge to evaluate treatment plans, collaborate with providers, and ensure compliance with regulations, while working remotely from Philadelphia, PA.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate treatment plans and determine medical appropriateness using established criteria
- Collaborate with case management staff and physicians to facilitate discharge planning and alternative settings
- Document all key functions and ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations
Required qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of Behavioral Health clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Active PA license as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or RN
- Experience with Behavioral Health utilization management is preferred
- Knowledge of medical management and precertification processes
