Package Engineer
Job Summary
To lead innovative packaging initiatives, the remote contract Package Engineer will manage NPI design, ECOs, and sustainability projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing operational support for the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day packaging engineering initiatives, including NPI design, rebranding, dieline creation, artwork prep, ship testing, and sustainability projects
- Coordinate with Data Analysts to stage ECOs for rebranded site launches and update technical packaging documentation systems
- Triage and direct multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously, providing leadership and guidance across teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or Packaging Sciences
- 2+ years of professional experience in the packaging field
- Strong data management and documentation skills
- Proven ability to quickly step in and lead projects
