Packaging Engineer Compliance Manager

Job Summary

Leading the company's packaging compliance and regulatory strategy, the full-time remote Packaging Engineer Compliance Manager will serve as the subject matter expert for packaging regulatory compliance, focusing initially on the European Union Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), while coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure compliance with current and future regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the company's PPWR compliance roadmap, including milestones and implementation timelines
• Monitor evolving European packaging legislation and translate regulatory requirements into actionable business processes
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Supply Chain, Packaging Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, packaging engineering, or sustainability
• Demonstrated experience interpreting and implementing complex international regulations
• Strong project and program management experience leading cross-functional initiatives
• Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions without direct authority
