PACS System Administrator
Job Summary
To provide management and end-user support for clinical applications, the full-time PACS System Administrator will operate PACS equipment, ensure DICOM data transfer, and collaborate with IT staff while working onsite at the Newark Campus.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of PACS equipment, including image workflow and quality assurance
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure proper DICOM data transfer and resolve clinical system issues
- Develop training materials and provide ongoing education for end users on PACS and related applications
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in computer science or a related field
- Two years of experience with radiology information systems preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
