Job Summary

Seeking a creative and detail-oriented Page Designer, the full-time remote position will manage copy editing and headline writing, promote visual storytelling, and collaborate with editors while preferring candidates located in Colorado.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage copy editing and headline writing for accuracy and style
• Promote visual storytelling through effective layout design using photographs, graphics, and typography
• Collaborate with editors on story presentation and communicate with production departments regarding quality control

Required qualifications:

• College degree from an accredited four-year college or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in G Suite, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Previous newspaper design experience is preferred
• Proven skills in news judgment, typography, and page design
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a remote team
