Palo Alto Cyber Specialist
Job Summary
To manage the implementation and oversight of Palo Alto Cyber security systems, the Lead Palo Alto Cyber Specialist will work remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, focusing on firewall management, performance analysis, and incident response.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and manage Palo Alto Firewall and SASE security systems
- Monitor and analyze network performance while responding to security incidents
- Coordinate security policies across SASE components and manage EDR deployments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks platform and Strata Cloud Manager
- Experience with SASE security implementations and policy coordination
- Direct experience with Cortex XDR and managing EDR deployments across various operating systems
- Strong background in cybersecurity principles and practices
