Part-Time AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of enterprise AI solutions, the part-time Applied AI Engineer will design and build AI applications, develop intelligent document pipelines, and improve answer quality using modern AI frameworks in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build AI applications powered by LLMs, RAG, and semantic search
• Develop intelligent pipelines for document ingestion, knowledge extraction, and retrieval
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to prototype and ship new capabilities

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building AI, machine learning, or NLP applications
• Strong experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks
• Strong Python development skills and experience building production software
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
