Part-time AI Engineer
Job Summary
To support innovative AI projects, the part-time Principal AI Engineer (Agentic AI) / Tech Lead will lead engineering teams in delivering production-grade AI applications and work directly with clients to define technical roadmaps, all while working remotely and overlapping with US Pacific Time business hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead engineering teams through end-to-end technical delivery and architecture definition
- Integrate into client teams or collaborate on FullStack product teams to design and build AI solutions
- Act as a technical liaison, scoping technical work and ensuring successful delivery of projects
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Successful completion of a four-year college degree
- Expertise in designing and deploying agentic AI applications and complex LLM architectures
- Experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines and automated testing for AI workflows
- Availability to work 20+ hours per week during US Pacific Time business hours
