Part-Time Answer Line Representative

Job Summary

To support patient and physician communications, the part-time Answer Line Representative will manage inbound and outbound calls during overnight shifts, ensuring exceptional customer service and accurate information sharing while working remotely from the Greater St. Louis area.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively manage a high volume of incoming calls from patients and healthcare facilities, providing exceptional customer service
• Proactively follow up with physicians and patients regarding hospital visits and ensure timely communication efforts
• Maintain accurate data entry in the electronic health record while ensuring patient privacy and security in compliance with HIPAA

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or customer service environment
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including holidays and weekends
• Experience with electronic health records and data entry preferred
• Must reside in the Greater St. Louis area
