Part-Time Assistant Faculty
Job Summary
To support the Online undergraduate HIS110 class starting October 5th, the part-time Assistant Faculty will engage with students in a remote learning environment, manage communications, assist with grading, and provide supplemental instructional support.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze student activity and respond to discussions and assessments based on input from the lead instructor
- Assist in managing student communications and escalate unique issues to the lead instructor
- Provide tutoring and develop supplemental support materials as directed by the lead instructor
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in History or a related discipline with graduate coursework in History
- Professional experience in the field of study, with previous teaching and online teaching experience preferred
- Professional certification in discipline specialty may be required based on course credentialing
