Part-Time Assistant Faculty
Job Summary
To support the Online undergraduate HIS110 class starting October 5th, the part-time Assistant Faculty will interact with students in remote classrooms, manage communications, assist with grading, and provide supplemental instruction to enhance student engagement and success.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze student activity and respond based on input from the lead instructor
- Assist in managing student communications and escalate issues as needed
- Provide tutoring and develop supplemental support materials for students
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in History or a related discipline with relevant graduate coursework
- Professional experience in the field of study is preferred
- Previous online teaching experience is preferred
- Professional certification in discipline specialty may be required
