Part-Time Assistant Faculty, CIS
Job Summary
To support online undergraduate courses, the part-time Assistant Faculty, CIS will engage with students, manage communications, and assist with grading while working remotely for 20 hours per week, primarily during weekday evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze student activity and respond to discussions and assessments based on input from the lead instructor
- Assist in managing student communications and escalate unique issues to the lead instructor
- Monitor student engagement levels and provide recommendations to enhance participation
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Systems
- Professional experience in the field of study is preferred
- Previous online teaching experience is preferred
- Certification in Security+, CEH, or CHFI is required or must be obtained within a year of employment
- Must be available to work weekday evenings and weekends, particularly between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. ET
