Job Summary
Supporting the instructional faculty in creating an optimal learning environment, the part-time Assistant Faculty in Business will engage with students in an online undergraduate course, focusing on analyzing student activity, managing communications, and providing feedback while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze student activity within discussions and assessments, responding based on input from the lead instructor
- Assist in managing student communications and escalating unique issues to the lead instructor
- Provide tutoring, live sessions, and develop supplemental support materials as directed by the lead instructor
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business or a related discipline with relevant graduate coursework
- Previous online teaching experience required
- 5 years of professional experience in a Human Resource-related role or 3 years in Entrepreneurship or Small Business Management
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse learning styles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
