Part-Time Computer Information Systems Faculty

Job Summary

Passionate about student engagement, the part-time Computer Information Systems Faculty will support online undergraduate courses by interacting with students, managing communications, and assisting with grading while working remotely for a defined schedule of 20 hours per week, including weekday evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze student activity and respond to discussions and assessments based on lead instructor input
• Assist in managing student communications and escalate unique issues to the lead instructor
• Support the lead instructor with grading, feedback, and developing supplemental instructional materials

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Professional experience in the field of study preferred
• Previous online teaching experience preferred
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CHFI are required or must be obtained within a year of employment
• Must be available during evenings and weekends, particularly between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. ET
