Part-Time Controller

Job Summary

To support a growing portfolio of clients, the part-time Controller will manage all accounting functions, including issuing financial statements, developing financial models, and overseeing month-end close processes while working flexibly from home.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general accounting functions, including month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly consolidated client financials with fluctuation analysis and budget comparisons
• Build financial models to aid clients in cash management and operational decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA is a plus
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years at the Assistant Controller level or above
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with software solutions like QuickBooks Online and NetSuite
• Experience in guiding and mentoring high-performing accounting teams
• Professional curiosity and a passion for continuous improvement and learning
