Part-Time Doctoral Instructor
Job Summary
To support the doctoral program in Educational Leadership, the Part-Time Doctoral Instructor will teach online and residency classes, serve on dissertation committees, and collaborate with faculty and students in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach up to five classes annually, utilizing a mentor/coach approach to foster educational relationships with students
- Participate in dissertation committees and serve as a resource for academic staff and students
- Support the research methodology team by peer reviewing content for publication and maintaining program quality
Required qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership or a related field
- At least one year of leadership experience in K-12 or higher education, educational technology, or curriculum development
- Current University of Phoenix Associate Faculty member
- Knowledge of adult education practices and curriculum development
- Experience teaching at the college/university level
