Part-Time English Faculty

Job Summary

To support the Online undergraduate English class for the upcoming Fall quarter, a passionate part-time English Faculty will engage with students in remote classrooms, assist in managing communications, and provide supplemental instruction to enhance student success.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze student activity and respond to discussions and assessments based on input from the lead instructor
• Assist in managing student communications and escalate unique issues to the lead instructor
• Provide tutoring and support, including grading and feedback, to enhance student engagement and success

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in English or Communication from a regionally accredited institution; a terminal degree is preferred
• Previous teaching experience is required, with online teaching experience preferred
• Professional certification in discipline specialty may be required based on course credentialing
• Experience working with diverse learning styles and technology for facilitating learning
• Availability to work on Saturdays is required
