Part-Time Faculty - Communication Sciences

Job Summary

To support an engaging learning environment, the part-time Faculty - Communication Sciences will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses remotely, communicate with students, facilitate discussions, and provide timely feedback while managing course content and academic integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate undergraduate and/or graduate courses, including hosting live lectures and managing discussion boards
• Engage with students through outreach, timely communication, and feedback on assignments
• Serve as a subject matter expert, assisting with curriculum maintenance and addressing academic integrity issues

Required qualifications

• Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or closely related field from an accredited institution
• Have a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline if holding a terminal degree in another field
• Demonstrate experience teaching at the college/university level (preferred)
• Provide own equipment, including a computer, reliable internet access, and necessary software
• Be available to teach during evenings and weekends as required
