Job Summary
To support an engaging learning environment, the part-time Faculty in Organizational Leadership will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses remotely, communicate with students to foster engagement, and provide timely feedback on assignments while managing course content and participating in faculty development.
Key responsibilities
- Teach and facilitate undergraduate and/or graduate courses, including hosting live lectures and managing discussion boards
- Engage with students through regular communication and outreach to support course completion and address academic integrity concerns
- Serve as a subject matter expert for curriculum maintenance and participate in faculty development opportunities
Required qualifications
- Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field from an accredited institution
- Have a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline or closely related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrate experience teaching at the college/university level (preferred)
- Provide own equipment including a computer, printer, and reliable internet access
- Possess knowledge of academic processes and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Blackboard
