Job Summary
Offering a remote opportunity, the part-time Faculty - Orientation will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, engage with students through communication and live lectures, and serve as a subject matter expert while ensuring an interactive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach and facilitate undergraduate and/or graduate courses, including hosting live lectures and conducting weekly student outreach
- Provide timely feedback on student submissions and manage course content to maintain rigor and relevance
- Participate in faculty development and complete mandatory university training as assigned
Required qualifications
- Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field from an accredited institution
- Have a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline for certain qualifications
- Experience teaching at the college/university level is preferred
- Ability to provide own equipment, including a computer, printer, and secure internet access
- Knowledge of academic processes and university guidelines
