Part-Time Insurance Faculty

Job Summary

To support the educational needs of students, the part-time Insurance Faculty will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses remotely, engage with students through weekly outreach, and serve as a subject matter expert while maintaining a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend availability.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate undergraduate and/or graduate courses, including hosting live lectures and participating in discussions
• Communicate regularly with students to promote engagement and provide timely feedback on assignments
• Assist with curriculum maintenance and address academic integrity concerns as needed

Required qualifications

• Terminal degree or master's degree from an accredited institution preferred, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the applied discipline required
• Minimum of two years' experience in the teaching discipline/field
• Experience teaching at the college/university level is preferred
• Knowledge of academic processes and university guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Blackboard Learning Management System
