Part-Time Medical Coding Recruiter

Job Summary

To support the recruitment of skilled medical professionals, the part-time Medical Coding Recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, focusing on sourcing and screening candidates for medical coding positions while working remotely for 25-29 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates through various channels, including job boards and professional networks
• Review resumes and conduct interviews to assess candidates' coding skills and experience
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified medical coders and coordinate onboarding processes

Required qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• At least 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare or medical coding
• Understanding of medical coding terminology and relevant certifications (e.g., CPC, CCS)
• Experience in sourcing candidates specifically for medical coding and auditing roles
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
