Part-Time Student Data Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting analytics data products, the part-time Student Analytics Data Engineer will assist in building and improving data pipelines and datasets while working remotely or onsite in Moline, IL, during the academic year and summer semesters.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with building, testing, and improving data pipelines, datasets, and analytics data products
- Support analytics work by preparing data, organizing code, validating outputs, and documenting results
- Participate in team ceremonies, code reviews, design discussions, and project check-ins to enhance technical understanding
Required qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Foundational experience with Python, PySpark, or similar technologies
- Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later
- Available to work 16-20 hours weekly during the academic year and 30-40 hours weekly during the summer semester
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
