Part-Time Tutor
Job Summary
Seeking dedicated educators, the part-time Tutor will instruct high school and graduate students in various subjects, including standardized test preparation and academic skills, both in-person and online, with a commitment of at least ten hours per week, primarily during evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities:
- Instruct students in ACT, SAT, ISEE/SSAT, AP exams, and other academic subjects, adapting teaching methods to individual learning styles
- Provide mentorship and support for students' passion projects, fostering their academic development and confidence
- Collaborate with parents and the tutoring team to address student needs and enhance the learning experience
Required qualifications:
- Four-year college degree
- Ability to score in the 99th percentile for ACT/SAT or 95th percentile for other relevant tests
- Experience teaching or tutoring in specific subjects is preferred
- Availability to work evenings and at least one weekend day
- Commitment to long-term employment, ideally for at least one year
