Part-Time UX Research Student
Job Summary
Supporting John Deere's User Experience organization, the Part-Time UX Research Student will conduct user research, analyze workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, working remotely while managing 10 to 20 hours per week during the academic year and 30 to 40 hours during summer semesters.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research to understand workflows and identify opportunities for improvement across various business functions
- Support user research activities, including interviews, workshops, and experience design initiatives
- Analyze findings to translate observations into actionable insights and assist in visualizing processes and future-state concepts
Required qualifications
- Must be a full-time student at an accredited university with a graduation date of May 2027 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Preferred majors include Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, and related fields
- Strong interest in research, technology, and operational transformation
- Available to work onsite in Champaign, IL
