Job Summary
Owning customer bids for specialized freight services, the full-time Remote Partial Pricing Specialist will analyze shipment data, collaborate with Business Development, and execute RFPs to determine competitive pricing for Partial truckload, Refrigerated LTL, and expedited services.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Business Development to confirm scope, timelines, and service requirements before pricing begins
- Review shipment data to determine appropriate freight modes and flag options better served by other modes
- Build accurate internal pricing files using historical data and market intelligence, ensuring timely delivery of RFP submissions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3+ years in freight, logistics, or pricing; RFP or bid experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of specialized services
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, large datasets)
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
