Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the remote Senior Project Manager - Law will manage patent prosecution, implement IP strategy, and provide guidance on patent preparation and portfolio management while collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patent prosecution and participate in IP strategy implementation, including preparing and filing US patent applications
• Conduct invention disclosure interviews to identify patentable ideas and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on the IP team
• Oversee outside counsel relationships and support large, complex cases and matters globally

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, computer science, material science, physics, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience
• Licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant intellectual property experience, including patent prosecution and portfolio management
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence in the IP space
• Significant level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience
