Patient Access Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Patient Access Consultant will manage reimbursement activities, claims assistance, and patient support services, ensuring efficient access to specialty therapy treatments.

Key responsibilities:

• Master and perform standard and advanced services including billing support, claims submission, and prior authorization tracking
• Engage with manufacturer representatives and coordinate services with field reimbursement teams and sales representatives
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolve inquiries, and analyze reimbursement trends and delays

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; a two-year associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in patient access or related fields
• Extensive knowledge of pharmacy operations and medical claims
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• General knowledge of healthcare billing required; advanced knowledge preferred
